1. Chris Paul and Rajon Rondo have beef. (What’s beef? Ask Biggie.) The two got into it after the Celtics’ 97-87 victory Sunday and had to be separated by security. Meanwhile, Rondo finalized a five year, $55 million extension with the C’s over the weekend.
2. Manu Ginobili staged either a) the most elaborate Halloween prank of all-time, or b) an audition for a second career in pest control when he knocked a low-flying bat out of the air during the Spurs-Kings game on Saturday.
3. Josh Smith became the youngest player in League history to block 900 shots this weekend, passing Shaquille O’Neal.
4. Tattoo artist James Hayden recreates LeBron James’ ink on a mannequin for the benefit of Nike cameras. DunkGate this is not.
5. Trade rumors about Stephen Jackson swirled furiously last week, but the Warriors see no reason to rush into a trade. Meanwhile, Don Nelson is still trying to figure out this whole rotation thing. After 2,300+ games as a coach, you think he would have figured it out by now…
